Hey Family!
Sorry mom, I wrote late again. Today has been kind of crazy. Last night Francis, Arnett, and McNinch came over to spend the night and we went to Teotihuacan today. We ended up falling asleep at about 5:30 a.m. and were at the pyramids all day. I ran home, went to my district meeting, and here I am. So if this letter doesn't make much sense, blame it on the sunburn and/or lack of sleep.
Anyhow, it was really fun to see today. Those pyramids are incredible. It is super tiring having to hike up the pyamid of the sun. We saw a lot of p-day missionaries there from all over DF (Mexico City aka Distrito Federal) and we met a bunch of Europeans. It was a fun experience. I wouldn't doubt if Christ appeared to the Nephites there. Mexicans have a myth about an ancient white-bearded god who came and visited them and promised to return...sound familiar? And he appeared in Teotihuacan, so it just makes sense. (Sidenote: When Cortez and the other explorers came here to Mexico, it was really easy to conquer the natives here. Why? Cortez was a white-bearded man.)
Well, this week went well. We had interviews with President. He always makes me feel good about what I'm doing and so that was a little pump-me-up. My companion got stung by a bee and his hand swelled up all big/is still swollen. We had stake conference. Even more boring here. And we worked like crazy. An average week pretty much.
I hope you enjoy the photos and video. I was also very tired while at the pyramids, so forgive the nonsense.
I love you all and will continue to pray for you guys. Keep it real.
Love,
Drew
p.s. When is Dad going to have the surgery? (We don't know yet.) And explain all of that again, por favor.

4 friend{s} had something to say:
Steve and I have climbed those pyramids and they are steep and AWESOME. I'm glad to hear that Stake Conference's all over the world have the same reputation.
Elder Romney looks great, and maybe a little "toasty"!
It's also great that he got to spend some time with those elders he loves! And, LOVE that mission pres.!
Why, oh why is the video not working...it's killing me!
But that is an impressive gargoyle impersonation...Drew is awesome!
I'm a blogging loser! I don't even know how to make myself a "no-reply blogger"...so please e-mail me the original Sis!
