Global Colding

Global warming doesn't exist. That's right, Al Gore, I said it. It's freezing here. I feel like I'm living in Seattle. I haven't seen the sun for like five days and it's been raining almost non-stop.

The backspace on this keyboard sticks. Do you know how frustrating that is? It's really annoying. Sorry.

A dog urinated on my leg this week. I was contacting a lady and her small dog left and I looked down and there was a puddle of yellow liquid between my feet. I knew what had happened. I had to go home and change pants. It smelled strongly.

We had interviews this week with president. It went well. He told us all to go home and bless our houses and then give our companions a blessing. There has been a little problem with Satan tempting the Mexico City North mission. My patriarchal blessing says "when the kingdom of God moves forward, Satan mounts his forces." That is what is happening right now, I guess, in the mission.

Well, Esperanza went out of town so we will see how things go this week with her. Juanita is doing well, but she just wants to know facts, and for us to base every belief on the Bible. I realized that we will never win like that. I felt the need to tell her to stop doubting and to start praying. I was kind of direct about it, but the Spirit told me that she needed to know that she would never get a testimony if she never prayed. So, we just testified and told her to start praying. I have realized that Moroni's promise (Moroni 10:4-5) is so real. If we pray to know if something is true, it is guaranteed that the Lord will answer us. The Lord doesn't say "Oh, it's not their time yet,"  or stuff like that. All we have to do is excercise a particle of faith (Alma 32:27) and we will know if we pray. Sorry, I'm rambling. I'm just sick of hearing, "Maybe it's just not his/her time right now." It's always the time!

Well, I hope everyone is doing well. I'm happy.

Love you all. Keep it real. Twelve weeks.

I think that "Moroni's promise" can also be called "Drew's promise". That's not asking too much, or bordering sacreligious, or anything is it?
He's awesome. And 12 weeks is evenly awesome!

I don't know why this made me cry. Maybe that he has such a strong testimony and is serving so faithfully, or if it's I'm in a mood because Jamie's baby is doing well. I miss my cute people and Elder Drew is probably also and is counting just like we are. Makes the world a little smaller.

Thanks for the laugh right up front. What a rude dog.
I loved his President's advise and Drew's willingness to do ALL that is asked and more. 12 weeks - WOW

How very cool you are doing this blog for Elder Romney. We have a son in the same mission as him, serving right now in Actopan.
